Tijuana International Airport (TIJ) Transportation

Need transportation at the Tijuana airport terminal in Mexico? Specify TIJ terminal service in your request so we can review the itinerary and pickup or drop-off arrangements.

TIJ terminal pickup is a separate request from CBX and must be confirmed in advance. Share your flight, date, passenger and luggage counts, destination and return plans. A TIJ flight number alone does not change a CBX reservation to a Mexico-side pickup.

SAN pickup planning

Include your airline, flight number, arrival date and destination in your request. Before travel, confirm the meeting arrangement, trip contact, included waiting and applicable charges. Your pickup instructions should identify the meeting point for your reservation.

Room for people and luggage

Six passengers with six large suitcases can need a different arrangement from six passengers carrying overnight bags. Tell us the number of checked bags and carry-ons, plus any strollers, golf bags or bulky items. We review the passenger and luggage combination before confirming the vehicle.


For group travel, request a chauffeured Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. For smaller parties, request an executive SUV or sedan. The assigned vehicle and available luggage space form part of your trip confirmation.

Coordinating group arrivals

Send each flight and the number of travelers arriving on it. Include the hotel, meeting start time and a contact coordinating the group. Ask us to review a shared departure after everyone is ready or separate pickups for different arrivals.


For example, a team of eight arriving on three flights can request either one group departure or several transfers. Flight spacing, luggage, vehicle availability and the schedule determine the proposed arrangement and quote. Changes after confirmation require review.

CBX and TIJ pickup

A CBX transfer meets you at the U.S. CBX terminal in Otay Mesa. Send your TIJ flight information and your expected ready time on the U.S. side. Allow time for the crossing and entry procedures before your road transfer.


Pickup at the Tijuana airport terminal in Mexico is a different request and requires separate confirmation. Specify CBX or TIJ terminal when asking for a quote.

What do you need to quote my transfer?

Send your travel date, airline and flight number, pickup and destination, passenger count, checked bags, carry-ons and a reachable phone number. Add any stops, return date and special requirements.

Can six people and their luggage travel together?

Send the exact passenger and bag counts. We review whether an SUV or Sprinter suits the group. Seat count alone does not confirm that all luggage will fit.

What happens if my flight changes?

Contact us promptly if your flight number, connection or arrival changes. Confirm the waiting and rescheduling terms before booking; the quote should explain what is included and when additional charges apply.

Where will I meet my chauffeur at SAN?

Use the meeting instructions confirmed for your reservation. Request curbside or an inside-terminal greeting in advance so the available arrangement can be reviewed. If you cannot locate the meeting point, contact the trip number in your confirmation.

Can an assistant coordinate the transfer?

Include the assistant or group coordinator's contact details and specify who should receive updates. Confirm the communication arrangements when reviewing the trip.

Can we reserve a return transfer or add a stop?

Include the return date, pickup location, departure flight and every requested stop. Ask for each leg, waiting and extra stops to be included in the written quote.

Can I request child seats or bring oversized items?

List the type and number of seats or oversized items in your request. Confirm availability, vehicle fit and any charges before booking.

Is the quoted rate the full trip price?

Review the written total and what it includes. Ask about applicable waiting, additional stops, parking or airport charges, surcharges and gratuity before confirming.
